”Hej tomtegubbar, slå i glasen och låt oss lustiga vara!” – freely translated “Hello elfs, fill your glasses and let us be merry!”
Even though the actual song is said to be a drinking song from Sweden, it was playing in my head when creating these “nisse” ATCs. I used vintage photos as my focal point and put a little elf hat on each, even if some already had a hat.

A Little Christmas Cuppa - Day 13Sharing with you today how I created a Christmas themed art journal spread. I used a Tim Holtz Holiday Flash Card as a tag (see Day 3) and lots of lace, silk, Tim Holtz dies, with vintage papers, doilies etc. With Distress Crayons and Distress Glitter I added some depth and highlights.I love to play with the Tim Holtz Clippings and add messages on the pages. I used vintage papers, bits and bobs, a drift store find (a Christmas star), Tim Holtz clippings and die cuts, with Distress in Walnut Stain and lots and lots of Distress Glitter (Vintage Platinum).Today's tip might be more a reminder than a proper tutorial. If you have a star of wonder in your heart, small but bright, you can shine.I found a book sheet that had a suitable text on it: The Second Advent Sunday.

Here's one very simple idea of how to use Tim Holtz's Holiday Flash Cards. Punch a hole in it, and if you want to go a bit further, add an eyelet.
