This is a journal page that was the last Jehkotar, Taru Jehkonen, made for Paper Garden before her sudden death in May. We have no words, the news were unbearably, breathtakingly hard. There are still not enough words in the world to write, but to just say that we hope and know that wherever you are, you are the one with the laudest laugh, the brightest hair, and the biggest heart. Hi there! It’s Riikka here today with a quick and easy tag project. I used Paper Garden printables in this project. I started the tag by adhering some a bigger printable on top of a piece of cardboard to make a background. I then adhered the picture of the lady to a cardstock to make it sturdier. I used printables I have received from Paper Garden, which are from previous monthly kits. But as there’s now a wide selection of different printables available in the shop, you can get something similar. Besides the printables there’s not that many different elements in there. Concerning beauty Heippa! It’s Riikka here today to share an art journal spread with you. I recorded a video while I was working with the page. Usually my videos are about 5 minutes long but this time the video ended up being over 9 minutes! I guess it’s due to all the layers I built to the background. I started the page by taping together two sheets cut to correct size. This is how I was able to make the design continue seamlessly from one sheet to the next. In a later state I then cut the sheets apart and adhered them to opposite pages of my journal, but it was easier to work first...
